UNIT I
INDIE FILM FINANCE
We align strategic financing for independent feature films. Our team has a track record in aligning financing across private equity, senior debt and gap financing. Recent co-financing initiatives include aligning private equity capital for LaRoy, Texas, a feature film dark comedy starring John Magaro and Steve Zahn. LaRoy, Texas premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Festival and is currently streaming on MGM+.
Additionally our team has aligned equity financing for Pierre The Pigeon-Hawk, an animated feature film musical starring will.i.am, Jennifer Coolidge, Jennifer Hudson, Whoopi Goldberg, Snoop Dogg, Howie Mandel and more. Pierre The Pigeon-Hawk is in production under Exodus Film Group, and Toonz Media Group.

Our brand partnerships team negotiates and produces branded content, primarily within the creator economy. We have secured over $3 million in partnership revenue for creators through collaborations with companies including Qatar Airways, Mattel/WWE, Android, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play/Electronic Arts/FIFA 22, Live Nation, Candy Crush Saga, Paramount Pictures, Hasbro/Nerf, Genshin Impact/Hoyoverse, BetterHelp, Honey, YoungLA, Gamers8, Juice Time, the World Youth Forum Egypt, and more.

In 2024, our team pitched, negotiated, and co-produced Qatar Airways’ first creator partnership with digital star Anwar Jibawi. This groundbreaking campaign celebrated the airline’s 2024 Best Business Class award from SKYTRAX and was cross-promoted with their Traveling Together campaign during the Mother’s Day holiday.

Sentwali Holder
Producer, Manager
Sentwali Holder is a creative producer and writer originally from Manhattan, NYC. He began his career in Los Angeles in 2015, working under iconic sportscaster Jim Gray, where he managed and archived Gray’s storied 40-year broadcasting career. In 2017, Sentwali produced LIVE, a micro-budget found footage thriller distributed by Byron Allen’s Freestyle Digital Media. LIVE is currently available on VOD. Later, he created and optioned an unscripted competition show to Embassy Row/Sony.
Sentwali went on to executive produce and secure financing for LAROY, TEXAS, a dark comedy starring Steve Zahn and John Magaro, which premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Festival and is currently streaming on MGM+.
He serves as executive producer and secured financing for PIERRE THE PIGEON-HAWK, an animated feature film in production, starring will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Whoopi Goldberg, Jennifer Coolidge, Snoop Dogg, Jason Isaacs, and more. Additionally, Sentwali is a co-executive producer on FLASH BEFORE THE BANG, a sports drama in production starring Kevin James, Grace Byers, and Russell Harvard, and executive produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
Outside of film, Sentwali previously managed digital star and creator Anwar Jibawi, with a combined following of 55 million. (See Brand Partnerships)

Indie distributor Brainstorm Media has locked down North American rights to LaRoy, a darkly comedic thriller starring John Magaro (First Cow), Steve Zahn (The White Lotus) and Dylan Baker (Happiness) that world premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Festival and nabbed three awards at the Deauville American Film Festival, including the Grand Prix, Audience Award, and Critics Award.

Shortly after Jamal Trulove celebrated his breakout turn in The Last Black Man in San Francisco at the film’s Sundance premiere, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted to approve a $13.1 million settlement for Trulove after it was found he had been framed by police for the 2007 murder of a friend, serving six years before a retrial exonerated him and found two police officers deliberately fabricated evidence and failed to disclose exculpatory material.
